Do you have superior skills in managing contracts, procurement and material management? Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Systems and Controls Specialist on a permanent basis, to ensure best in class Supply Chain Management procure-to-pay and inventory management processes, systems and master data are effectively used.   The successful candidate would be there to enable sourcing, procurement and inventory management requirements are in accordance with the company’s policies and statutory requirements. Job Responsibilities  

  • Develop, maintain and continuously enhance policies, processes, tools and standards
  • Establish and maintain reporting processes and controls to ensure supply chain activities are in compliance with company and statutory requirements (i.e. SOX or CSOX)
  • Facilitate system design solutions and enhancements to drive adherence, testing and continuous improvement and effective use of existing SCM systems
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors to demonstrate completeness of existing internal controls over financial reporting certificates
  • Ensure master data is in compliance with data governance policy at point of creation and through regular monitoring and cleansing of master data
  • Enable effective use of SCM processes and systems through training and coaching
  • Provide and maintain efficient access to processes, standards, tools and reporting information through the SCM portal or other means

Candidate Qualifications 

  • Five plus years’ experience in supply chain management experience
  • Experience in procure-to-pay and materials management processes using SAP MM and Microsoft AX
  • Solid inventory management and purchasing/buying best practices
  • Strong experience and understanding of Master Data best practices
  • Experience and understanding of change management methodologies and best practices
  • Educational background in SCM, Engineering or Business are assets to this position
  • Profiicients computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); SAP Materials Management, Stuxure, iValua, SharePoint
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Highly motivated and able to perform in a fast paced environment
