Do you have excellent organizational skills?  Our client, a large oil and gas company located downtown Calgary, is seeking an individual to join their team on a part time basis for a 1 year term.  This role will support the IS office and will be responsible for fulfilling regular requests such as ordering of supplies, facilitating meetings and assisting with the on-boarding of new contractors and employees. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Facilitate on-boarding and off-boarding activities
  • Perform routine office functions including screening and/or redirecting inquiries, ordering office supplies, creating documents and spreadsheets
  • Assist with employee administration tasks, such as processing expense claims, managing inboxes, travel requests, mail and courier distribution
  • Manage facilities by organizing workspace moves, space planning, and facility reservations
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve and streamline processes and workflows

Candidate Qualifications

  • Two plus years of experience in administration type of roles, within IS in an oil and gas company would be an asset
  • Knowledge of standard corporate policies and procedures
  • Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage ones time
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 
  • Working knowledge of SAP
  • Office Administration or Business Administration Diploma or equivalent training would be an asset
  • Highly motivated, outstanding positive attitude and desire to grow role
  • Time management skills and multi-tasking abilities
