Are you a junior Administrative Assistant looking to sharpen your skills and add to your experience? Our client, a large Oil & Gas company, is looking for an Administrative Assistant to complete a full time, 1 year contract in Nanticoke, Ontario. The successful candidate must be able to work Friday-Monday, 10 hour shifts. If this sounds like something you would excel in, please apply below! Job Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to a department or individual
  • Typing, filing, answering phones, scheduling, calendaring, record keeping, coordinating meetings and conferences, obtaining supplies and/or sorting/distributing mail
  • May work on special projects to include recording, compiling, retrieving, reporting and analyzing information
  • Schedule meetings, meal catering, meeting meal invoice processing, general invoice processing for select/specific site contractors
  • SharePoint uploads and basic mods
  • Expense statement quality checks and initial set-up, manual revision posting & update tracking
  • NOMEX ordering, long term document storage (Iron Mountain),
  • Specific employee timekeeping system updates, building warden

Candidate Qualifications
  • Proficiency with MS Office required
  • Strong communication skills and organizational skills are required
  • Must be able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong administrative coordination abilities
  • Customer service experience is an asset
