Description

Our client is looking for a Manager of Crude Quality to manage their Crude program and the people responsible for it in Calgary AB. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring all products shipped on internal pipeline systems meet Pipeline Rules and Regulations pertaining to quality specifications as well as work with the operations team to gain a detailed understanding of the pipeline systems to deliver effectively on managing the crude quality strategies. Job Responsibilities 

  • Implement, manage, monitor, and enforce Pipeline Rules and Regulations pertaining to Quality Specifications 
  • Bring forward operational Crude Quality opportunities to the pertinent stakeholders for commercial assessment
  • Provide technical expertise to operations in ensuring crude quality management program and activates are completed accuracy and effectively. Maximize current quality practices to ensure all opportunity and revenue are captured
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure the WADF submissions on the crude sales lines and are accurately represented 
  • Monitor and enforce the rules and regulations pertaining to crude volumes and qualities as per our company philosophies
  • Represent the company in crude quality industry associations and committees and advocate for constant improvement
  • Explore ways of improving existing processes
Candidate Qualifications 
  • University degree in Engineering, physics or related disciplines 
  • Five to ten years of applicable experience working with crude quality programs 
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal and presentation)
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and analyze problems, find solutions and make solid decisions
  • Ability to see the big picture and engage stakeholders
  • Strong facilitation and negotiation skills to influence and drive decisions and results
