Are you a task oriented, focused HR Generalist? Our client, an Oil & Gas company in downtown Calgary, is looking for someone to join their organization  to support the day to day HR functions.  The successful candidate will provide compensation planning and recommendations as well as employee relations matters.  If you are ready to take on this new and exciting challenge, please apply below.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide HR strategies, services and programs in organizational development, recruitment, orientation and retention, performance management, training and development, health and safety, compensation and benefits and administration of HR files
  • Promote compliance with HR policies and procedures to all levels of the organization
  • Execute annual HR programs and processes in the areas of attraction, compensation, performance management, and employee development
  • Administration of company benefit plans
  • Support and develop policies
  • Advise management of issues and/or trends within the organization, and externally 

Candidate Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree/ diploma in Human Resources
  • CPHR designation completed or working towards
  • A minimum of five years of related work experience in a human resources generalist
  • Understanding of general human resource policies and procedures
  • Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with all levels of the organization
  • Comprehensive knowledge of various Alberta Legislation (Employment Standards, Human Rights, Occupational Health & Safety, etc.)
  • Data driven, action and results oriented
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize and finish all assigned tasks
