Are you a top notch recruiter who has experience managing a high volume of hires?  Do you thrive in a fast paced environment where you can provide an excellent customer experience?  BOWEN is searching for a Lead RPO Recruiter to support one of our RPO clients who operates in the oil and gas industry. This role focuses largely on leading the student recruitment program in Alberta and Ontario. As an integrated part of the client’s Talent Management strategy, this role also leads mid-career recruitment when work volumes demand the support. Reporting to the Director, Affiliate Services, this position will build client relationships through the exceptional delivery of recruitment processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage team workload to ensure KPIs are achieved
  • Lead the execution of the student recruitment strategy
  • Full cycle recruitment for mid-career positions
  • Oversee recruitment process management and compliance
  • Partner closely with the client and their external recruitment partners to attract and hire top-tier students.
  • Conduct interactions with Hiring Managers and Applicants in a timely, professional and responsive manner
  • Conduct role intake meetings with Hiring Managers and set expectations in alignment with the existing recruitment process
  • Lead Applicants through the recruitment lifecycle including pre-screens, interviews, background checks and through to extension of offer
  • Regularly update Manager on project status
  • Manage regular contract obligations, including reporting and billing, on behalf of BOWEN

Candidate Qualifications

  • Four or more years of full cycle high volume recruitment experience
  • Four or more years of applicant tracking system experience, SuccessFactors or similar is preferred
  • Experience working with video screening software, and on-line background check providers would be an asset
  • Experience engaging Universities, or similar, to enable the delivery of recruitment strategy
  • Personable, down to earth, assertive and able to easily communicate with people at different levels of the organization
  • Exceptional customer service with a sense of urgency
  • Organized with the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, on different projects, follow up rigorously and communicate effectively
  • Highly collaborative, team player
  • High attention to detail
  • Process and task oriented
