Specific Role Summary
Specifically, we are looking for a high-performance, outside sales associate who is driven and passionate about moving the needle with new business sales. Must be comfortable in complex sales cycles, RFP responses and presentations as well as relationship management. The candidate will be an entrepreneurial self-starter who uses strategic and proactive prospecting techniques to drive new opportunities, while employing a consultative sales approach to close the sale and provide prospects with meaningful value.

Essential Functions

Roles and Responsibilities 
  • Primary responsibility is outside sales: strategic and intelligent prospecting, conduct proactive cold sales calls and face-to-face meetings with warm introductions, closing deals and generating results
  • Establish yourself as a professional business person and trusted advisor with prospects
  • Effectively tell our story and articulate the BOWEN Group value to prospects
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline
  • Stay focused on results through high performance and accountability
  • You are the consummate hunter; you love chasing down and closing new business accounts and developing new opportunities within existing clients
  • You are professional, likeable, and trustworthy
  • Manage full spectrum of RFP response, presentation and negotiations
  • Manage governance and growth opportunities in strategic enterprise level accounts. (50% Governance - 50% Growth)
  • Have proven experience prospecting; strategically selecting and engaging accounts that will make you and the company successful
  • You are fearless and highly effective when it comes to proactive telephone calls
  • You handle yourself with confidence when meeting with prospects face to face or over the phone
  • Strong ability to identify, select, and deploy the right sales weapons to use with specific prospects
  • Able to relate our solutions to business benefits in order to progress sales cycles toward closure
  • Technical selling experience and relationships with business owners, managers, and C-level executives
  • Ability to address and resolve roadblocks impacting the close of a sale
  • Insatiable appetite for improvement, personal development, and sales success
  • You are a competitive person who has a passion to succeed, dominate, and win
  • Strong desire to contribute and help build a high performance sales culture that is focused on results and accountability 
Education & Experience

  • University Degree ideal, not a formal requirement
  • Looking for someone with 5+ years of sales experience who is hungry and has a great attitude.
  • A proven track record of client engagement or relationship management 
  • A clear understanding for a service culture and high sense of delivery 


  • Computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office - particularly Word and Outlook
  • Experience using CRM to manage your pipeline
    • Highly efficient in the use of HRIS, LinkedIn, Word, Excel and Outlook
    • Ideally, but not required - especially if you're an A-Player sales rock star - you have prior successful experience selling :
      • Online Marketing
      • Websites, especially responsive websites, that are built with a purpose
      • Google Analytics and establishing key Calls to Action (CTAs) & goals
      • Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
      • Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising
      • Social Media Marketing
      • Email Marketing
      • Web Applications
      • Mobile Apps
      • Online stores / shopping cart
