Are you an experienced senior recruiter that thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where you can use your collaboration skills to work closely with hiring leaders to attract the right talent? Our client is looking for a Recruiter to join their team in Calgary.  This is a fulltime position, for a six month contract. If this sounds like something you would excel in, please apply below.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead hiring leaders through the end-to-end recruitment process
  • Collaborate with hiring leaders and Human Resources Strategic Partners to fully understand the vacant role and the skillset required
  • Craft engaging job ads to attract the right talent for the role
  • Evaluate candidates’ qualifications in relation to the position requirements to determine a successful match
  • Conduct behavioural-based interviews to assess candidates’ knowledge, skills, experience and aptitude against the corresponding vacancy
  • Utilize our Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other enabling technology to flawlessly execute a defined recruiting process effectively and efficiently
  • Build appropriate and accurate offer letters to support your clear articulation of our employee value proposition to prospective new hires
  • Ensure recruiting and hiring practices are in compliance with Provincial and Federal government regulations
  • Influence employees of all levels using data, insights and key messages
  • Network and collaborate across diverse groups to achieve outstanding results that deliver the most value

Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related discipline 
  • Eight+ years of in-house recruitment experience
  • An excellent ability to assess top talent
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills that allow you to build trust and rapport seamlessly
  • Strong business acumen and system thinking skills and the ability to understand an organization’s business model, operations, financials and competitors
  • Resourcefulness, innovation, self-motivation, and the ability to prioritize
  • High attention to detail and a keen sense of urgency and the ability to handle multiple tasks
  • CPHR designation an asset
  • Workday experience would be an asset
  • Bilingual French/English would be a strong asset
