Are you a Chemical Technologist looking for a new opportunity? Our client, an Oil & Gas company in Fort McMurray is looking for someone to join their team for full time, seven-month contract. If you are a well-organized, motivated individual this position may be the one you’ve been looking for.

Job Responsibilities

Perform analytical tests
Development of new analytical methods to characterize unique samples (hydrocarbon, water, solids, etc).
Currently the analytical laboratory performs >60 analytical techniques which would include the following: Dean & Stark Soxhlet Extractors, Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzers, Gas Chromatographs, High Performance Liquid Chromatographs, Gas Chromatographs, Thermo Gravimetric Analyzer, Differential Scanning Calorimeter etc

Candidate Qualifications

Chemical diploma or degree
One to three years of experience
Must have Mask fit and steel toed boots
Strong computer skills
Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
Able to work independently
