The successful candidate will be an integral part of Contingent Workforce Management (CWM) team that provides outsourced services managing the full life cycle of BOWEN’s contractor workforce working on assignment with our client organizations. Job Responsibilities 
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for an assigned list of clients, the Contracts Administrator is responsible for working with the client to: respond to inquiries; take job orders; set up new contractors; manage assignment and contract changes; purchase order life cycle management; off-board contractors; as well as providing monthly reporting; and participating in quarterly governance meetings.
  • Understanding of contractual terms and commitments is essential, including MSA content, pricing, pre-screening requirements, pertinent policies and procedures.
  • As the primary point of contact for assigned client contractors, the Contracts Administrator is responsible for: responding to inquiries; assessing IC compliance; setting up IC and T4 contracts; securing contract acceptance; ensuring all pre-screening requirements are met; tracking safety ticket compliance; managing contract changes; and contractor off-boarding.
  • Understanding and interpretation of employment standards (multi-jurisdictional) and contracting procedures is essential. 
  • Management of weekly compliance as well as start and end reports for clients
  • Handle client and contractor complaints concerns or questions
  • Respond to assignment related situations including: benefits enrollment; timesheet approval delays; management; contractor performance issues; health and safety incidents; and WCB reporting and claim management
  • Working closely with BOWEN’s Payroll Team is essential for managing timesheet, payment and invoicing issues promptly and effectively.
  • Ticket management and validation
  • Extensions, amendments and rate updates and required

Candidate Qualifications

  • University Degree ideal, not a formal requirement
  • Prior experience in Human Resources or contracts management 
  • A proven track record of client engagement or relationship management 
  • A clear understanding for a service culture and high sense of delivery 
  • Computer skills – Highly efficient in the use of HRIS, LinkedIn, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Priority setting – Can attend to a broad range of activities in a fast paced high volume environment
  • Customer focus – Dedicated to delivering an excellent customer experience and being responsive to customer inquiries
  • Team results driven – Can be counted on to find solutions to challenges, share openly and take the initiative to make things happen
  • Strategic thinker – Continuously looking for new and better ways for delivering the desired outcomes
  • Revenue focus – Committed to closing on new business opportunities and aligning service levels to revenue potential
