Description

Our client in Fort McMurray is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Advisor to join their team for a 12-month contract. The main function of this position is to support execution of business priorities by efficiently delivering top talent. The successful candidate will guide and coach hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process in a fast paced, high volume position.  If this positions sounds like something you would be interested in please apply below. Job Description

  • Develop, plan and deliver full life-cycle recruitment activities and innovative strategies to identify the best talent
  • Build and maintain a strong partnership with business units. Develop an in-depth understanding of respective portfolios to anticipate and identify appropriate and proactive talent acquisition solutions
  • Run cross-functional projects and programs effectively and efficiently by escalating risks, tracking decisions, empowering decision-makers, identifying inter-dependencies, building project plans, and managing stakeholders
  • Maintain and grow relationships with local post-secondary institutions, Indigenous groups, and community employment coordinators to enhance the visibility of the organization and increase awareness of career opportunities
  • Review business processes, technologies, and external marketing practices to identify continuous improvement opportunities


Candidate Qualifications 

  • Degree in Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of five years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including a combination of strategic business planning and talent marketing
  • Considerable knowledge of the development and implementation of continuous improvement strategies
  • Ability to develop positive and collaborative working relationships with internal personnel and external organizations
  • Excellent planning, organizing, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to find best solutions and act strategically when problems arise
