Our client in Fort McMurray  is looking for an HRIS Analyst to join their team on a full time, seven-month contract. The successful candidate will partner with various business groups to provide support and guidance through a wide variety of HR related services.  If you are ready to take on this new and exciting challenge, please apply below.  

Job Responsibilities 
  • Partner with departments to identify and document HR system related project requirements and scope, while making recommendations for optimization opportunities
  • Participate in the ongoing requirements gathering, design, build, test, and deployment of new functionality or modules
  • Understand the importance of change management to facilitate the transition to new technology and processes
  • Research and resolve HRIS issues and process flaws
  • Respond to support requests promptly and accurately, clearly communicating the status of support requests through resolution
  • Maintain technical and industry trend knowledge by participating in Ultipro Community and other forums, including on-line discussions, brainstorms, training, webinars, etc.
  • Make sure that security protocols regarding information systems are in place and followed

Candidate Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or other closely related field
  • Knowledge of HR processes from previous assignments, roles , experience in Human Resources
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Possess a strong work ethic for working with confidential information
  • Analytical mind for problem solving, business process analysis and how systems can be made more efficient
  • Aptitude and ability for learning new technologies and technical skills quickly
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership and critical analysis skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative manner with diverse groups of individuals
  • Demonstrates an ability to teach others how to use various systems effectively
