Are you looking to grow your Human Resources experience? Our client in Calgary, is looking for a Recruiter for a fulltime, three-month contract.   The successful candidate role is focused on identifying top talent for our high-volume roles (call centre, sales and retail) while partnering with hiring managers on all aspects of the recruitment cycle. Acting in a consultative role, you will advise on market trends and recruitment strategies to fulfill talent needs within appropriate timelines.

Job Responsibilities
  • Execute the full lifecycle recruitment process for all positions in company, with a particular emphasis on field positions
  • Advise on market trends and recruitment strategies to fulfill talent needs within appropriate timelines
  • Screen applicants, and conduct interviews
  • Ensure recruitment process compliance
  • Stay up to date and in front of talent and competitor landscape
  • Function as a resource; providing advice, guidance and counselling to hiring managers
  • Validate job requisitions with hiring managers

Candidate Qualifications
  • Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in a Business-related program with an HR focus is preferred
  • One to three+ years’ experience with full-cycle recruitment for high-volume and/or entry level roles
  • Proficient using recruitment-related tools and applications, including leveraging social media to promote roles
  • Passion for delivering a great candidate experience and leveraging talent acquisition as a strategic initiative.
  • Confidence and proven success sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter or other similar tools
  • Strong candidate assessment instincts, tenacity, and demonstrated success at finding top talent
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across various levels in an organization
  • Resourcefulness, initiative, perseverance, and the ability work with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative team player: adept at working with others to deliver results and able to meaningfully contribute to team as whole
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with the ability to thrive in changing and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
