Our client in Vancouver is looking for a full-time Senior Administrative Stenographer that will take initiative and takes pride in a job well done.  This is a full time, short term contract. Job Responsibilities
  • Perform complex clerical and secretarial duties
  • Update and maintain databases and spreadsheets of projects
  • Take and transcribe dictation consisting of correspondence, memoranda, reports, specifications, minutes of meetings, and other materials
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, travel arrangements
  • Takes care of incoming mail, correspondence, calls and visitors
  • Organize data and materials for meetings, make meeting arrangements
  • Assemble, organize, type and index a variety of information for reports, projects and contracts
  • Sort and file records, correspondence and documents 

Candidate Qualifications
  • Post secondary diploma in Office Administration
  • Four+ years experience in a similar role
  • Superior minute taking and transcription experience is essential
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) 
  • Strong ability to schedule meetings in Outlook
  • Able to prepare reports and accounts involving arithmetical and statistical  computations
  • Keen attention to detail 
  • Experience in a fast-paced office environment
  • Self-starter and multi-tasker
