Our client is looking for an individual to complete an 18 month contact in Nanticoke ON as an Administrative Assistant. If you feel you could excel in this position, please apply below. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Loss, near loss and LPO entry and closure in Impact 
  • Reports from incident reporting database 
  • Manage the company SharePoint site 
  • Coordinate meetings, take minutes and book catering 
  • Document and manual updates 
  • Safety meeting attendance gathering for stewardship 
  • Document control and retention
  • Time sheet and invoice approval 
  • Support development of bulletins/ LPS alerts/ weekly “stand up for safety” package 
  • Scheduling of training pertaining to SSHE department 
  • Ordering supplies from stores
  • Process personnel logistics activities including org charts and communication 
  • Make travel arrangements as necessary 
  • Perform ad hoc responsibilities as necessary

Candidate Qualifications
  • Advanced excel and word capabilities 
  • Ability to use spreadsheets, and generate meaningful graphs from spreadsheets 
  • Knowledge and use of use of SharePoint, Outlook, PowerPoint, SAP 
  • Able to function with minimal supervision
  • Admin Assistant will be required to fulfill the following duties
  • Manage leadership tour schedules, create stewardship from tour completions for several groups
