Our client, a large Oil & Gas company in Edmonton, is seeking an energetic and detail-oriented person to join their team as a Business Services Coordinator for a two year contract.  The successful candidate will manage the site payroll system, as well as the site workforce scheduling and timekeeping system. Job Responsibilities 
  • Develop and coordinate the preparation and adjustments of schedules
  • Perform general staffing and timekeeping functions
  • Track hours worked, review timesheets and verify hours
  • Maintain schedules in advance to minimize vacancies and overtime
  • Administer timekeeping and staffing database
  • Resolve conflicts within the database and input all required changes
  • Respond to schedule change requests in a timely manner
  • Identify gaps in resourcing needs 
  • Attend meetings to coordinate changes
  • Support reporting requirements as needed

Candidate Qualifications 
  • Two+ years’ experience managing databases in a professional work environment
  • Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Strong analytical, attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Aptitude for problem solving and able to think critically to find resolutions
  • Able to manage multiple and changing priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to take initiative to implement changes and take on project independently
  • Experience and knowledge of Kronos would be a strong asset
  • Experience in resource planning or employee scheduling would be a strong asset
