Our client, a large Oil & Gas company in Moncton, is looking for a Shipments Coordinator to join their team for a one-year contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for railcar scheduling and logistics for North American rail.  This shift for this position is four days on/three days off. Job Responsibilities 
  • Coordinate with sales staff, dispatches, customer service representatives, warehouse staff and shipping/receiving
  • Answer inquiries form customers
  • Investigate complaints regarding services and policies
  • Input, update and consolidate ETA and shipping details and send to appropriate business units
  • Analyze load information from customers to determine and verify the appropriate routes, rates and schedules
  • Coordinate shipment schedules with vendors
  • Support transportation issue resolutions 

Candidate Qualifications 
  • One+ years’ experience in similar role
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and other computer systems
  • Superior customer service skills 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving and logical thinking capabilities 
  • Excellent planning, organizational and multitasking skills
