Our client in the Edmonton area, is looking for an experienced Field Administrator to complete a short term, one month assignment. This is a FIFO opportunity and the successful candidate would be in a camp environment for the duration of the contract and working 6 days on and 1 day off. Job Responsibilities
  • Creation and editing of reports and word documents
  • Word processing, filing, mail distribution, general administrative duties
  • Reception coverage (telephone and incoming radio calls)
  • Providing backup administrative support for vacation/sick relief as needed
  • Assisting with incident and accident reporting
  • Support and assist with data entry into database
  • Time entry
  • Invoicing

Candidate Qualifications
  • Minimum of Grade 12 diploma required
  • Post-secondary in business administration an asset
  • Two+ years’ experience required, preferably in the oil and gas industry
  • Strong MS Office, Word and Excel skills
  • H2S Alive Certification
  • ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: CSTS/PST/eGSO if obtained prior to January 1, 2019. If you do not have any of these tickets prior to January 1, 2019 you are required to have CSO only through Energy Safety Canada
  • Standard First Aid – with CPR/AED – Level A or C
  • Proven track record of exceptional customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to travel and work away from home for extended periods of time
