Our Calgary energy client is seeking a Specialist, Control Room Management to join their team for a fulltime, three-month contract, The primary purpose of this role is to develop, maintain, implement Control Room Management Plan across organizational control room operations. Establish process, procedure, cultural, behavioral improvements with respect to implementation of the plan. If this is something you are interested in, please apply today.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct analysis of key processes relating specifically to Control Room Management 
  • Implement the CRMP which may include processes, procedures and key performance indicators for the Control Room in collaboration with key team members
  • Direct and perform regular audits, self assessments as defined in the CRMP to ensure adherence to policies and programs
  • Represent the Control Room in the preparation of regulatory filings for the new and existing assets
  • Act as the subject matter expert for Management of Change processes impacted by the guidance of the CRMP
  • Participate in risk assessments of Control Room Operations
  • Annually review records of CRMP deviations to identify trends
  • Annually prepares a compliance summary report, including records of deviations

Candidate Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of experience or the equivalent education and years of experience
  • Proficient in document management
  • Proficient in the use of PC’s and software including Excel, Word, Power BI, SharePoint
  • Knowledgeable standards and practices related to regulatory compliance.
  • Experience working with major crude oil terminals and pipelines, NGL/refined product processing and storage facilities and rail and truck load/offload racks and associated measurement facilities
  • Adept at learning and applying new ideas and technology
  • Demonstrate accountability holding yourself and others to account 
  • Ability to collaborate with others to achieve the best results by sharing knowledge and understanding
  • Demonstrate the desire to strive for excellence focusing on risk, corrective actions, improving operations and creating value for the organization, customers and shareholders
