Our client in Calgary is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Analyst to join their team for a full time, one month contract. The successful candidate will be a vital member of the Reclamation, Remediation and Risk Management Division. - Groundwater Reporting (familiar with AB regulations)
- Support Project Managers by maintaining the necessary reporting requirement of various clients
- Complete technical report writing
- Perform technical report reviews
- Notifications to regulatory bodies
- Organize and streamline project deliverables and related paperwork
- Assist in planning work scopes and program activities
Candidate Qualifications
- Science based University or College Diploma
- Professional designation or potential to obtain designation such as P.Ag, R.T(Ag.) P.Biol, R.P.Bio, P.Eng
- Minimum one year of relevant environmental experience working in Energy, Oil and Gas or Utilities
- Familiar with regulatory guidelines
- Working knowledge of Saskatchewan and Alberta reclamation and contaminated site guidelines
- Knowledge of Manitoba and British Columbia regulations would be considered an asset
- Strong computer skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize and process large volumes of paperwork
- Self-motivated and possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
