Are you looking to further develop and grow your experience with the Oil & Gas industry?   Our client is looking for a District Manager in the Southern Ontario/GTA area for a full time one-year contract.   The successful candidate will support the national retail and commercial outlets within their region.  If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please apply below.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage the retailer or dealer relationship
  • Recruit and retain high-quality retailers and dealers
  • Manage the on-site execution of operating standards, which would include on-site observation, review third-party reports, and help to developing action plans for improvement
  • Regular analysis of site financial and volumetric reports and provide advice on finding operational efficiencies to improve performance 
  • Monitor fuel inventory control procedures and records as well as review and advise on required improvements
  • Manage retail fuel price strategies and tactics, observe market price movements, and recommend market-specific price strategies 
  • Respond to customer concerns

Candidate Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Economics, Marketing or equivalent
  • Five+ years’ experience in the retail gasoline/convenience industry or retail industry
  • Proven business, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to analyze financial and volumetric data
  • Self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure and meet or exceed deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • High attention to detail, superior organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Valid class 5 drivers license with a clean drivers abstract
