Our client, a large Oil & Gas company in Chauvin, is currently looking for an Integrity Coordinator to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. The Integrity Coordinator is responsible for the implementation and management of the integrity programs for all static equipment (pipelines, pressure equipment, tanks, piping, and overpressure protection devices). Job Description
  • Carry out risk identification and management activities (HAZID / HAZOP) with the aim of ensuring production process safety and minimizing exposure of people, installations, and the environment, before, during and after the conclusion of operations
  • Carry out preventative safety and environmental observations, report the occurrence of incidents/accidents by means of the corresponding applications and collaborate on the investigation and documentation of all aspects relating to the incident/accident
  • Supervise integrity implementation team activities to minimize delays in production, minimize environmental impacts from spills, increase reliability and availability of the asset, and ensure the technical integrity of the assets
  • Coordinate activities with other operational groups with the aim of preparing integrity activities and/or implementing the emergency response plan
  • Review and update the Operational and Instructive Procedures with the aim of reflecting lessons learned and operational best practices
  • Carry out audits of process and installation documentation in order to ensure change management
  • Prepare Technical Specifications as needed to support the process of purchasing materials and services
  • Appropriately manage the integrity budget with the aim of optimizing costs while maintaining safety and environment standards

Candidate Qualifications 
  • P.Eng., E.I.T., or C.E.T. designation in Corrosion, Chemical, Petroleum, Mechanical or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering/Technology with related industrial experience preferred 
  • Five+ years of experience in managing the static equipment lifecycle, including fabrication, installation, operation, integrity, and maintenance of pipelines, pressure equipment, pressure piping, tanks, and PSVs
  • Working knowledge of applicable jurisdictional regulations CSA Z662, AER Pipeline Rules, PESR, AB-500 series documents, AER D-055, D-077 and good engineering practices and standards (ASME, API, AER, CSA)
  • Experience in the use, and implementation of NDT examination methods and techniques, CGSB certificate 
  • Proficient using SAP, Maxi-Trak, Accumap and Synergi
  • Organized, innovative, and disciplined individual that works well with a variety of people and groups
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changes in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Effective cross-collaborator, able to influence without formal authority and work with minimal supervision
  • Solid business sense, able to produce quality results under pressure and within deadlines, assimilating large volumes of data without losing sight of overall objectives
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on troubleshooting, creative problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • API 510, API 570, API 653 certifications preferred
  • Corrosion related designations with NACE, API, ASME, or ABSA certifications and competencies would be an asset
  • CWB level 1 or AWS CWI is a plus
