Do you have great professional communication skills? Our client, a Calgary engineering firm, is looking for an open communicator to join their team as a Reception/ Accounting Administrator. Job Responsibilities 
  • Manage boardroom bookings 
  • Manage incoming calls
  • Receive incoming courier packages and prepare outgoing packages
  • Assist in coordinating company events and handling catering orders for meetings
  • Load and unload dishes, tidy up kitchen and replenish kitchen supplies 
  • Get incoming mails from mailbox daily and distribute accordingly
  • Coordinate office-related utility needs with building security and maintenance (i.e. lights, electrical, washroom issues) 
  • Order kitchen and office supplies
  • Greet and welcome visitors by offering refreshments, inform the appropriate staff of their arrival
  • Enter approved invoices into JV Nexus (i.e. expense reports, cheque requisition, rent)
  • Respond to vendors' payment inquiries and statements 
  • Pull invoices as backups to the cheque run
  • Mail cheques; sort and match cheque copies for our files, then file 
  • Distribute for approvals, check receipts and prepare journal entry

Candidate Qualifications 

  • Experience in a reception, and a customer facing environment 
  • Basic Knowledge of Accounting to provide support as needed
  • Friendly and personable, with great customer service skills 
  • Team player willing to help out anyone on the team
  • Able to balance priorities and juggle multiple priorities at a time
