Do you have experience providing support to a Human Resources department in the development, implementation and administration of HRIS? Our Calgary client is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated HRIS Analyst, to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will support the HR team. Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in the maintenance of master data updates in the HRIS system to ensure personnel records are accurate
  • Maintain system master data structure, including job families, role profiles, pay structures, organizations, positions, and locations
  • Prepare regularly scheduled reports and create ad hoc reports as required
  • Develop, document, and maintain HRIS processes, user job aids, and procedures
  • Create clear documentation of solutions to enable change management and business continuity
  • Identify knowledge gaps and work with the HR team to develop training curriculums and conduct training sessions on HR systems, processes, and functionality
  • Facilitate annual performance review and compensation cycles
  • Work with the IT team, external vendors, and internal stakeholders, to assist in testing business processes, system changes, upgrades, patches, new interfaces,  etc., documenting processes and results

Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of eight years of HRIS experience
  • SAP HCM preferred, experience with SAP HR on-premise and SuccessFactors would be ideal
  • Prior HRIS implementation experience is highly preferred
  • Experience with reporting, queries and metric development
  • A solid understanding of HR processes and procedures
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Familiar with Org Publisher, Spinifex, and learning management systems 
  • Understand the requirements of privacy laws regarding the housing of employee data
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail, able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities
