Are you a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Our client in Calgary is seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join their team on a fulltime permanent basis.  The Application Support Analyst will provide solutions to user issues with applications, hardware, and software. Job Responsibilities   
  • Provide support for users on problems related to business software systems and delivery solutions
  • Manage user profiles and complete provisioning across business application software
  • Create and maintain support documentation
  • Participate in the development, maintenance, testing, and implementation of application changes
  • Coordinate software releases and patches for supported software 
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, recommend solutions, and perform maintenance for business application software
  • Participate in testing and providing feedback on system enhancements
  • Monitor and ensure network security and connectivity 
  • Communicate with application software vendors for updates, patches, and troubleshooting
  • On-call duties

Candidate Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related program
  • Five+ years’ experience working in a support and/or IT training role
  • Working knowledge of MDM platforms and XML file comprehension
  • Help Desk experience
  • Experience with GeoSCOUT, Oracle, Mosaic, Decision Space, Multifactor Identification, SSO, SQL would be considered an asset
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, and able to communicate with all levels of the organization    
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Take ownership of solving issues while managing multiple priorities and escalations
  • Strong multi-tasking and time management skills, with proven ability to follow through on tasks
