Our client in Calgary  is looking for a Program Coordinator to join their team on a fulltime, permanent basis. The Program Coordinator position executes the day-to-day program duties in the Calgary region while assisting with donor and agency relationships. Job Description

  • Oversee ticket allocation on an ongoing basis to ensure overall program integrity, plus operational efficiency, and accuracy
  • Manage time frames for ticket distribution, ensuring agencies are notified of opportunities in reasonable time
  • Collect and manage waivers and any relevant material as appropriate to event requirements 
  • Maintain organization of ticket opportunities
  • Research potential ticket or event opportunities and make requests for tickets/donations
  • Assist Program Manager with planning and execution of major fundraising events
  • Transportation and set up of promotional materials at public events, volunteer fairs, and trade shows
  • Assist Communications and Community Engagement team member to provide orientation for new/renewed agencies and/or new ticket contacts
  • Assist Program Manager to issue ticket distribution reports to partnering agencies annually
  • Assist Program Manager to coordinate connection meetings as needed
  • Support database administration, keeping records current and accurate
  • Create tax receipts when requested by ticket donors, receipts are finalized by Program Manager. 
  • Assist with social media content and strategy

Candidate Qualifications

  • Five years experience in a project or program coordinator role
  • Proficient Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Dynamics
  • Strong writing and editing skills
  • Solid understanding of communications strategies and tactics
  • Creative, solution-focused, and resourceful
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Able to coordinate multiple projects and meet deadlines
