Our client, an energy company in Calgary is seeking an experienced Continuous Improvement Advisor to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing project management, facilitation and analysis support for continuous improvement activities company wide. Job Responsibilities 
  • Work with teams to assess key work processes and identify improvements 
  • Perform analysis to help teams make value-based decisions to improve performance
  • Work with teams to assure appropriate Change Management 
  • Provide direction to any external consultant resources hired to support continuous  improvement activity
  • Apply Continuous Improvement practices (Lean and/or Six Sigma)
  • Develop the tools, processes and governance used by the organization 
  • Develop internal capability to drive a continuous improvement culture 

Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related field 
  • Minimum of ten years’ relevant industry experience
  • Experience in a continuous improvement role
  • Knowledge of mid-stream operations, regulatory, and industry practices
  • Proven abilities to lead, initiate and manage change
  • Strong analytical skills, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate the cost/benefit of potential changes
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communications skills
