Job Description
  • Meet a set daily quota of cold calls per day
  • Research potential new clients and prospects 
  • Solicit new clients to exhibit in trade shows
  • Sell effective event, advertising and sponsorship solutions to new and existing clients
  • Promote and cross-sell into events within the company portfolio
  • Visit related exhibitions in order to connect with potential clients
  • Create strong relationships through face-to-face meetings with existing clients in order to identify possible future opportunities
  • Allocate exhibition space and prioritize the placement of clients based on their needs and featured products and services
  • Prepare and enter all contracts and/or supporting paperwork in the CRM system 
  • Participate in outside events to promote the company as a valued member of the industry and community
  • Assist in the coordination of move-in/move-out, the development of show features, and provide on-site floor management

Candidate Qualifications
  • Three + years of experience in B2B sales, with a strong preference for those with experience with events, advertising, sponsorship or marketing 
  • Experience in the use of a CRM preferably Salesforce 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and the internet
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and able to work with a team
  • Knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector and tradeshow exhibit coordination is considered an asset
