Our client in Markham is seeking a driven individual to join their team as Manger, Digital Marketing on a full-time permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a mix of full funnel investments across all digital marketing platforms, along with growing positive consumer & expert reviews and developing review marketing tactics. Job Description
  • Drive new customer acquisition, and expand repeat purchases
  • Oversee day-to-day digital advertising activities across all paid platforms
  • Monitor the review platforms including Social, Google, Forums, etc. to analyze and share key findings with the internal stakeholders
  • Develop and execute sophisticated MVT testing frameworks to test all areas of the funnel including creative, messaging, ad targeting, landing pages and online app flow
  • Lead, mentor and inspire a team of digital marketing professionals
  • Deploy various digital marketing strategies to meet short term and long-term financial goals
  • Clearly communicate the digital business results to cross-functional partners and Senior Management
  • Collaborate with Marketing on cross channel (retail, etail, eCommerce direct) digital campaigns including social media, PR, and influencers
  • Define key measures of success and provide transparency into performance through reports and dashboards across the entire funnel
  • Understand and partner with technology and analytics teams to report on digital trends, funnel analysis, customer behavior
  • Drive analysis of the online origination channel and track performance against business goals 

Candidate Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
  • Five+ years’ experience
  • Strong experience in Brand and Performance Marketing in a medium to large business environment
  • Strong background in data and analytics to enhance digital reporting capabilities, attribution modeling and customer insights
  • Experience managing large scale promotions during peak seasons (e.g. Black Friday)
  • Knowledge of and comfort with a variety of online digital platforms, inclusive of content management systems, CRM, ERP and web analytics
  • Proven ability to build productive business relationships with both internal and external partners
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Creative thinking, coupled with solid business foundation, particularly in digital marketing
  • Collaborative team player with superior influencing skills
  • Specific experience with Shopify, SAP, Sales Force will be considered an advantage
  • Experience in both direct to consumer and business to business sales and marketing is considered an asset
  • Experience in retail and etail in the Consumer Electronic industry will be considered an advantage
  • Proven experience with Online Accessibility standards as well as privacy regulations is an asset
